PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
YOUNG GUNS (8-12 YEAR OLD - BEGINNERS) "LITTLES" PROGRAM
Beach Young Guns is a developmental program for 8-12 year olds. No prior volleyball skills are required. Coaches introduce players to the sport using fun drills and exercises to develop hand-eye coordination, footwork, and basic volleyball skills.
A full summer program is offered from the middle of April to the middle of September. In summer, when school is out, sessions are one hour twice a week, choice of Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday 4-5 pm. A mini tournament is offered on many Mondays from 12-1:30. When school is in session, practice will be Sunday afternoons, weather permitting.
Note: Sandsharks offers two free drop-in sessions to players who want to try beach volleyball. (Please ask us). Subject to space availability. Players are still required to have a USAV Membership and medical form. Please contact us and signup on our wait list.
Early bird pricing for returning players, is available through March 25th for $225 for the full summer. For new players, the cost will be $275. Discounts of $50 are available for siblings. Tuition includes a Sandsharks tank top.

CLUB - BEACH VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM
The Club program is for players 13 to 18. Volleyball experience is generally required but not absolutely necessary.
The program is designed for intermediate and advanced players committed to the sport.
Advanced players are encouraged to practice regularly and compete in local and travel tournaments. Sandsharks coaches will be available to support players at a few select events. Our coaches will assist players identifying tournaments and finding partners. Travel event coaching can be added out-of-fee.
In April and May, the Club Group will practice once a week on Sunday and select Thursday afternoons. After schools are out, from June through August, practices will run Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights 5-7 and Monday and Wednesday days 10-12. Players will be assigned to (2) day-time and (1) evening session. We will also run mini two-hour tournaments many weeks on Tuesday nights. We will try to accommodate schedule preferences, but must limit the number of participants per session. In mid-August, practices may be reduced to accommodate high school volleyball programs.
