DETAILED REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to Sandsharks! We are currently registering returning players and are also accepting new athletes to our Tryouts Waitlist. Tryouts will occur in the beginning of April. (You will have to have or purchase a USA Volleyball membership).

Signing up for our Tryout Waitlist will also entitle you to attend two sessions for free in addition to your Tryout! This will allow athletes the chance to try beach volleyball.

We wish we could coach every kid who wants to learn the game. However, we are constrained by the availability of coaches, don’t want to overcrowd existing sessions, and are limited by our permit with the Town of Dewey Beach to 60 participants.

Below are instructions to help you register for the tryout waitlist.

1. Go to www.chrva.org (for those living in DE, MD, DC, or NoVa – Others should register in their Region… I.E: NJ=GEVA, PA=KRVA, VA=ODR).
2. Click on the Membership button.
3. Note: if you have an existing indoor / annual membership you do not need to re-apply  Otherwise, sign up for the full annual juniors membership which is $55. Membership for U9 and U10 is $30 and U8 and under is free. 
4. Write-down and record your USAV Membership number. You will need this to register for Sandsharks.

2. Please fill out the form, scan, and upload the scanned copy into Team Snap. Registration and/or participation will not be permitted without a signed medical Release Form.

2. Press the “Enter Site” button.
3. Read through our Program Descriptions section and navigate to our Program Description page. 
4. Select the program that best fit your needs (i.e. Young Guns or Club).
5. Click on the registration link provided to you or on the tryout waitlist link below.
6. Please fill out the application form and upload any required documents.
7. Once you are registered you will be contacted to schedule a tryout date and time. 
8. If you are accepted to the club, re-register at the link provided and pay via credit or online check processing
9. Once you have completed registration and payment you will receive an invite to join TeamSnap - Please accept and follow directions in the invite to join Team Snap.  This application will be used for program rosters, schedules, messaging, communication, and any event delays or cancelations as required.
